FIRST, THE OBVIOUS QUESTION

Does this sound like your dog?

Yeast rarely announces itself. It shows up as five ordinary things most owners put down to "just how he is".

  • 1
A warm, corn-chip or musty smell from the ears or paws that is back within a couple of days of cleaning.
  • 2
Paw licking that gets worse in the evening, often with rust-brown staining between the toes.
  • 3
Head shaking, or one ear scratched far more than the other.
  • 4
Dark, waxy brown discharge inside the ear flap.
  • 5
Red, thickened or greasy patches where skin folds meet, in the armpits, groin or belly.

Two or more, and this challenge was built for your dog. None of these are "just how he is". They are the same organism showing up in different places, and the protocol works on all five at once.

Day 2: that corn chip smell has a cause

DAY 2 OF 7 · 10 MINUTES

That corn chip smell is coming from somewhere

The warm, slightly sweet, corn chip smell that people describe from a dog's ears is usually yeast. Most often Malassezia, the same organism behind a lot of paw licking.

An ear canal is warm, dark and holds moisture, and a floppy ear closes the lid on it. That is the whole story. It is not poor hygiene on your part and it is very common.

Read this before you touch an ear. Check with your vet first, and do not clean at home if the ear is painful to touch, if you can see broken or bleeding skin, or if your dog has ever had a ruptured eardrum.

Then the routine itself, step by step, and what the discharge colour is worth telling your vet about…

That's Day 2. Seven more like it, including the one on Day 5 where I tell you what the protocol can't fix.

Why a supplement company gives this away

Fair question, and I would rather answer it here than let you wonder about it for seven days.

We sell a supplement called YeastGuard, and on Day 5 I tell you about it. That is the whole of the commercial part. The other six days are diet, ears, paws and food, and not one of them needs anything from us.

The protocol works on its own. Plenty of people run the week, keep the routine, and never buy a thing, and that is genuinely a good outcome for me. A dog owner who knows why the yeast keeps coming back is worth more to this business than one who bought a bottle on a whim and stopped after three weeks.

No credit card, no purchase to finish it, and you can leave at any point with the protocol you have built so far.

QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really free? What's the catch?

Yes, the entire 7-day challenge is completely free. There's no credit card required and no obligation to buy anything. On Day 5, we introduce our YeastGuard supplement as one component of the full protocol, but the challenge stands on its own without it. We offer the challenge because dog parents who follow the protocol see real results, and many choose to add the supplement layer on their own. No pressure either way.

How much time does each day take?

Each day's task takes 10-15 minutes. Some days (like the food audit) are more reading and learning. Other days (like the paw soak) involve hands-on time with your dog. Every task is designed to fit into a normal day without disruption.

My dog has severe yeast infections. Will this help?

The challenge protocol is helpful for all severity levels, but severe or chronic infections should also be evaluated by your vet. Think of the challenge as the foundational protocol that supports whatever treatment your vet recommends. Many participants use the challenge alongside veterinary care for better results.

Can I start anytime or is there a scheduled start date?

You can start immediately. As soon as you sign up, you'll receive your Day 0 email within 60 seconds. The 7-day sequence runs automatically from your sign-up date, so there is no waiting for a cohort or scheduled start.

What if I miss a day?

Life happens! All challenge emails stay in your inbox, so you can catch up at your own pace. The daily cadence is ideal for momentum, but the protocol works even if you take an extra day or two between steps. The important thing is completing all 7 days, not doing them perfectly on schedule.

I already took the Pawganix quiz. Should I do this too?

Absolutely. The quiz identifies the right products for your dog's needs. The challenge gives you a hands-on protocol you can starttodayregardless of whether you've purchased anything. They complement each other: the quiz is the recommendation, the challenge is the action plan.

Your Dog's Yeast Problem Won't Fix Itself
